Barry I got my copy and I have watched the DVD.
What I want to know is if you filmed all the Interviews with the DVX? I'm assuming you did.
It looks great.
I haven't really read the book yet but I will soon and I'm sure that both the book and DVD will be great guides to my usage of the DVX.

Every frame in there is from the DVX, except those segments that are specifically identified as being from another camera (primarily the film segments and the JVC HD1 segments). Other than that, it's all DVX, all the way!

Yeah, I guess I should clarify that: of course it was all filmed with the DVX... I don't think it would have been right to shoot it with anything else!

I am really excited to have received my copy of the Book and DVD... the on problem though is that the DVD box is broken and I am not sure if I should open it and check the DVD to see if its in good condition and keep it or mail it back as is for a replacement. What should I do? If the DVD is OK I'd keep it because I do not care much of it case. The book is in perfect shape.

Wonderful job on the book - presentation is highly professional and you should very confident about expanding your market for it.
The content is exception, clear, comprehensive, of value both to the DXV100 newbie and experienced shooter. Great job of walking the tightrope of keeping it clear yet filling it with meaty content.
I'm extremely pleased and strongly suggest every DVX owner I know pick up one, from beginner to pro.

I forgot I ordered this the other day, and the package was in the mailbox today. Pleasant surprise. I thought for sure it would be a month before I received it. Excellent DVD section on all the various camera settings. Takes a lot of guess work out of the way. And nice to finally have a focus chart that wont get lost! The book and DVD will reside in the camera case, not only for me, but for when I rent out my gear.

Every order I've received has been shipped, except for a couple of paypal e-checks where the payment hadn't cleared yet, although those just cleared and their copies are going out today.

I've read about half the book and I've watched all the DVD.
WOW! I can't recomend it enough for anyone who has questions about the DVX and DV shooting in general.
Great job Barry. Very professioanlly done. My only regret is I didn't have it when I first got my DVX almost a year ago. ;D

The very first batch of orders was sent out on 11/12, and most of the international (non-US) orders went out on 11/13, 11/14, and 11/16. All the pre-orders went by Global Priority Mail, which says 4-6 days. So you should have it in the next few days for sure!
