Saw in another thread that it's off to the printer - care to share the table of contents? After reading through the official manual, wondering what the book's going to be like. Hoping it has a detailed discussion of the various scene file settings and how they interact w/each other, as well as some recipes.
 
Is there going to be an electronic version? Maybe something we can throw on an iPhone to read there instead of carrying a book around?

All that stuff will be there, yes. It's 272 pages long, with lots of articles and essays on using the camera, getting the best results, how to use all the focus and exposure tools, examination of and explanation of the waveform monitor and vectorscope, goes into lens mounts and crop factors and strobing and variable frame rates and archiving and all that. Then there's sections on basically every menu item, what it does, what it's good for, when you'd want to use one setting and when you'd want to use another, etc. Then it sums up with a description of every function button and switch and lever and every other type of control on the body, explaining what they all do, and then there's two dozen scene files and sample pictures of how they look.

When can I pre-order?
 
No pre-orders, I never take pre-orders until the product is in my hands and ready to ship. Well, that, and for other reasons... :evil:
