I went out yesterday to try the other flk2 & flk3 scene file created by Barry, It make shooting fun. I use auto iris to get the effect it's in the book.

Thanks from me to - very instructive.
I hadn´t tried the Barry Greens scene files before but when opening the CD textfiles i found I have to do some changes for my Europeen AG-AC 160EJ.

In the AG-AC 160EJ folder
AG-AC 160EN change to AG-AC 160EJ
Frame rate 30 or 24 change to 25
Synchro scan 1406 change to 1350
Change those 3 things for all 6 textfiles in all 4 groups

Very well done video dhardjono. It illustrates the power of the scene file settings feature in these camcorders.

Some of Barry's scene files are not that practical, but they all do an excellent job in illustrating how the image can be fine tuned by tweaking these settings.

Barry's book is more than worth the money to buy it. Especially for someone like myself that is new to Panasonic Pro Camcorders.

I highly recommend it:

As you have done so much testing dhardjono it would be nice to know what your favorites are, why you choosed them and for what purpose.
Thanks again for dealing your work with us and to Barry for the book.

Thanks, this is a great resource! Barry's book is great, but this video gives a much better sense of what the scene files do than the printed stills! He should include a link!

Barry's book is awesome! The scene files really drive it home to a look fast. I too have been very happy with the Filmic scene file. Also really like the SOFT BLACK and CORAL scene files as well.

Yes, thanks for some real world use of those setting. Just got my AC130 last week and have read Barry's book twice and am trying to find time to go out and run through some settings.

Hi, curious about the XLR connection you seem to manage to have out of the Rode. I have two Rodes, both have the 3.5 mm pins which I hate. I had to buy an adaptor at the camera end but you seem to have an XLR cable all the way from the mic to the XLR port.
