barrel distortion

I haven't seen it mentioned very much, but there is a decent amount of distortion at the wide end of this lens. Sometimes too much to be usable in certain situations. Anybody else out there noticing this or bothered by it?

It is pretty wide, but the distortion is pretty minimal in my experience. It is noticeable on straight lines if you look for it, but that is a small comprimise they made to bring the price point so low.

I find the wide end to be more than acceptable.
