C200: Banding on clothes - c200 raw

Hi all,

Has anybody experienced seeing banding/moiré on clothing using the C200? I'm editing some footage, and noticed it on the sweatshirt. Shot in Raw, simple CST applied in resolve.

Here are a couple of screengrabs taken a few frames apart.

Tough to see anything as it looks like the sweatshirt has that design/pattern...what do you see?

Yes, I saw it a few times when I had a C200. I pretty much only shot with CRL on the camera. But it showed up so rarely that I didn't really worry about it too much. And at least it's not purple/green!

Hmmm, happened again on a new video. It's much clearer this time. Weirdly, it shows up when playing the video back, but if i hit pauze in da vinci, the banding diminishes/disappears.

Sounds then more like a scaling/resolution playback issue.

FCP and YouTube do the same thing depending on the settings and how you're viewing the video.
