C100: Bag / Case for C100?

Can anyone recommend a quality bag / case that will hold the Canon C100 with it's audio handle attached with space for few accessories & a lens or two?

I have the CineBag's CB25B and I if I lay my C100 on its side and remove the side handle, I can definitely make it fit with the audio handle still on. Actually I think I could get it to fit even with the side handle still on. But I'd have to double check on that.

I pack it with the side handle as well as a 24-105mm attached but I remove the audio handle.

A company that I got a bag from is Click Elite. I have a Rocket. Mine is for DSLRs. The Rocket is made from military grade material. The have a many bags to choose from. They are out of Utah. The cinebags cb25b-revo looks good and well thought out.

I just ordered a Tenba Roadie II Shoulder Bag. It should fit the C100, a few lenses and other goodies. As a side benefit, it's not hugemongous.

I rather love my Billingham 307 and this week I used it to take a C100, grip and handle attached etc, with a 16-35 and 24-105, on a lightweight shoot.

In a fit of boredom while churning through a load of post production yesterday, I decided to treat myself to it's bigger sibling, the 555. Having measured it all up, I'm going to now carry the C100 and 5DIII bodies with my lens set - 11-16, 16-35, 50, 24-105, 70-200/2.8 and 100-400 across 2 cases, which then allows me to pack lightly in either bag or take the whole lot, depending on the need.

Having said I'll never buy a Billingham because it marks me out as a BBC knob, I must say I'm really impressed with the sheer quality and craftsmanship. These things are beautifully made and thought through.

Because I'm worth it, and all that... ;-)

It also means I can repurpose my Kata 197 as a production/grip bag - although I still recommend it, if you're after just one bag that will take the C100 vertically with everything intact, plus lenses and everything else you're likely to need.

Ben.

Just got my C100 yesterday so heres my setup with the Roadie 2 backpack and a few Lowepro bags, a bit overkill but I like the extra protection. Lots of room left for other bits a pieces, I guess I could organise it better but this was just to see if it all fits.

Don't have a bag for the mic yet but will locate one today

These hold the 24-105 and my 100mm L macro and BP-975

Sweet pix Sickone, thanks a lot for sharing. I take it you don't have insurance on your kit? ;) I'd really like to keep my kit fully assembled think that would be easier for run & gun, do you think it will fit sideways with hand grip, top handle & medium lens attached?

That was the original plan mate but I wasn't really happy with how it was knocking about even when I put the divers tightly beside it. Theres PLENTY of room in this bag to accommodate the C100 in full with 24-105 attached. The top section you see with the mic is another shelf that can come out, giving even more room. You could have it set up that you pull your camera whole from the top and have space under for your other bits.

I was looking for a bag that would allow me to store my Canon C100 in an upright position with handle attached. I settled on the Tenba Roadie II HDSLR/Video Shoulder Bag. The Roadie II could easily hold two C100's without breaking down the camera next to each other. Another plus is all the dividers that come with the bag which allows for various custom solutions. The side pockets are pretty big it holds a 312 LED with Sony L batteries comfortably. A cable management bag also fits comfortable on top of my accessories on the left.

The Roadie II shoulder bag comes with an additional tray/audio bag (not shown in the photos) that should you wish to break down the C100 you could fit two on the lower level and place the additional tray/bag on top of the of the C100's to store other accessories. I opted not to break down my C100.

I wanted something that could take the C100 with handle and grip attached, a bunch of lenses, my zacuto target shooter and zfinder and my small LED panel. Big ask but the Tamrac Expedition 9x backpack did the job. It's HUGE but after putting all of that in there there is still room to fit a 5D3 with an attached 70-200mm 2.8 lens if I wanted!

BINGO!!! This looks like the perfect bag for my needs. I too didnt want to have to break the camera handle down everytime I stick it in a bag. This looks perfect....just ordered one! Thanks for sharing.

In my research I found that a common standardised safety guide size for carry on is: 56 x 36 x 23cm. The Tenba Roadie II Shoulder Bag is 50 X 32 X 30 cm (19W X 12.5H X 12.5D in.) so technically speaking it seems to be 6cm over the safe standard which could be a problem with some airlines but maybe they let it slip? My kit as per the photos weight in at 12.5kg which is already over the limit of many smaller airlines.

The ThinkTank Airport series is a pretty safe bet if travel is a concern. Most airlines do specify limits on their websites if you dig deep enough.

My Tenba Roadie shoulder bag arrived today and it's great! On the label it says "meets all carry on standards". It's not too much bigger then my Petra bag for my EX1 and I carry that on planes all the time. It's pricey but comes with quite alot of separator dividers that can be configured in an endless number of ways. It also has an inner removable "gear tray" and a nice SDHC holder and rain hood for the entire bag, etc...

Ive managed to not only fit the camera with handle into mine, but also my 312 led light, two wireless mics and four lenses!

Im very happy with it and it's well worth the money.

Thanks for the heads up Nicholas!

I fit my C100 with a full size shotgun with rycote softie on it in the Roadie II shoulder bag standing upright fully assembled. It swallows it with ease. In the main compartment I can also fit four lenses (canon 70-200/4is, tokina 12-24, sigma 30mm and 50mm f/1.4s and the associated lens hoods. If I don't mind filling some space, I can also put all the chargers for everything (in a porta brace softbag), a Nex6 kit with kit lens (also in a PB softbag), and a pair of Sony mdr-7506 headphones. End pockets hold batteries (one end) and wireless mics (other end).

Overall, it's like this bag was made for the C100. Well worth the lofty price.

The Tenba Roadie II HDSLR/Video Shoulder Bag looks perfect for my needs. I just ordered it. Thanks Nicholas. I like the Petrol PC002 Deca Doctor Bag 2 as well but having the extra room with the Roadie II will work better for my needs.
