Badlands - short clip

Hey all,

Just finished shooting a few scenes for a friend's project.

Basically, this is part of a scene where a cop wakes up, something's up and he's "not in Kansas anymore"

For now there is no sound, and nothing is final. I just wanted to share some work with you guys that I was very happy with, considering the circumstances.

Wow, thanks for the great comments guys. Feels great to know that all the practice is helping me evolve if people can write stuff like that :)

all the shots there were done with 24mm nikon f2 and 35mm nikon f2 - generally between f2.0 and f2.8.

thanks! Now the next step is to figure out how to get paid to shoot this style of product!

Nice work, PaPa!! Loved the photography of the hallway scene especially!

I was just wondering, what type of compression did you use for your upload (which editing software did you use too)? It looks so sharp and clean!

Keep up the good work!

Hey screen form. I'm just the dp on this project so I'm not sure what places sell those costumes, but I do remember him saying he got them off of ebay.

Thanks Jean,

I follow the compression that is advised with vimeo and premier pro

H.264

level: 3.1
vbr 1 pass 2.5 target and 3 max.

that's about it really.

I believe it's a form of quicktime

Thanks a lot. I just get sick of over grading or no grading on footage and it looking like poo poo. Yours seemed very film like from the first clip. I guess its all about what's pleasing to the eye. Thanks again.
