Bad, corrupted P2 Clip

So first I would like to apologize for lurking around this forum for quite some time and not participating much. But, I need some help.
We were shooting this interview and getting some really good stuff and either the camera crashed or my boss bumped the ac power supply (I suspect the latter) and the camera turned off I booted the camera right back up and continued the interview. The clip was obvioulsy corrupt when we tried to bring it into fcp (the tc was all "x"s so I repaired the clip in the camera and fcp still won't bring it in. We can play it back in the camera. I was thinking I could make a copy of the clip onto another P2 card in the camera but that would probably just copy the corruptedness (is that a word?) onto the new clip. I could always just capture it analog out of the camera and up rez it in fcp. But that would be a last resort. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Try bringing the clip into Avid. If you can export it from Avid, then maybe you can get it into FCP?

Try this and see if it works...Copy the contents and last clip to a folder on your desktop.
Then point FCP to that folder and import as a regular P2 card that has worked for me the 1 time I had a corrupt clip.

I don't have AVID.

I also don't have enough room on my desktop for 4GBs. Does it have to be on the desktop? Should the folder be named "NO NAME"? I know it shouldn't work but I tried importing the .mxf file directly. Needed to say that didn't work either.

Doesn't have to be the desktop just another HDD the folder doesn't matter whats it named. Make sure you get the last clip.txt file as well. Then in FCP Import>Panasonic P2>And point the directory to wherever you copied the files.

So FCP still didn't bring it in after I copied it to an external drive. But luckly it was the first clip on the P2 card and P2 Log demo could still read it! I will be picking up a copy of this software as soon as I can convince my boss (he's a pennypincher). Jan if you still need the info: Mac OS 10.4.4, FCP 5.0.4, all clips were 720p24pn. Thanks guys!
