GH2 Backup- another GH2 or a G3?

I will be going out of the country and wish to take a backup camera. Chances are it may not even be used, but wanted one just in case of a problem. Should I get another GH2 or is there any advantage of getting a G3? The $200 or do so does not really matter. I have multiple batteries for the GH2 though.
I will be taking a Nikon dslr, since I hate the menus on the GH2 (I am primarily a still shooter).
Presently, I have the 14-140 and the 20mm 1.7. Will probably get the 14-45 lens too.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks so much!

If you've got the monies... then another GH2. But you didn't say how important or what exactly you'll be shooting. Context is needed here.
Heck you could grab a D7000 or a D5100, and use that for stills and backup.

I would much rather spend the money on a D7000 or a D5100. Then, use that instead of dragging along my D300. I do not ever envision doing a 2 camera setup or shoot. These trips are mostly documentary of mission trips and school projects showing kids and people. Not much live interviews.
Is anyone getting any good video out of the D7000?
I have been trying to wait patiently for Nikon to get out newer products with larger sensors. What would you do? Thanks.

Given most people are getting good raw stills out of the GH2, I'd take one of those. You never know if your a cam might go south

my 02

Having the same camera (GH2) this will allow you to share batteries charger and lens. Plus it makes it easier to match the footage.

Also I would advise getting a Nikon adapter and use your cool Nikon glass on you m4/3.

Thanks everybody. I was having a hard time finding someone who would sell a GH2 body only, but I did order one from Unique Photo for $809. Since I leave in just four weeks, I did not want to wait and chance it. I appreciate the input.
