Cut a demo for potential clients with footage shot 720 30p.

I want to show them the footage on an lcd hdtv they have in their office. (as opposed to a quicktime file they'd view on a computer monitor.)

The LCD is actually a samsung 720p native machine properl calibrated. . Footage should look amazing if I can figure this out.

Can I export a 72030p sequence out of fcp and go back onto the card to play out of camera. ???

thnx

Thanks I read that and have it dowloaded.

But I seem to remember Barry saying that only 60i footage will travel via firewire. So if you're cutting say a 720 30p project can that be recorded to the card via firewire.

There's one way to find out for sure.
More tinkering.

The firewire transport protocols are:

1080/60i
1080/50i
720/60p
720/50p
480/60i
576/50i

If you're working in any other mode, it'll need to be converted to one of those modes to go back out the firewire. 720/30p will be embedded in a 720/60p transport stream.
