Baby announcement, using Brevis

Very good teaser. Hope Megan is ready for the DVX in the delivery room. Maybe Kata makes a scrub for the DVX? :)

i dont know what it was about that but i really liked it. couldnt really tell how the adapter was but who cares congrats

Hahaha, coolest way to make the announcement ever. Congrats.

If I needed to critique it I'd say the lighting was a little dark at times, but not to a bothersome point.

Haha. Yeah, the lighting goes a bit dark for the wider shots. Know why? I used a 22w fluorescent ring light to do everything.

Also, trying to adjust levels for online delivery versus broadcast is more of an art than I realized. I had to really crush the blacks for the DVD.

Dougyfresh -- perfect! I used a 20mm for the whole thing, so the adapter effect isn't obvious. But you can definitely see things falling out of focus in several shots. I know some people might think I'm odd for using an adapter with such a wide lens (why not just go with a naked DVX?), but I love the look.

No dolly track in the delivery room. I'll hire Mikko with his Steadicam.

Congrats Jason. I just had number two (uh number 6 using your system adding my two cats). But wow twins on the first roll, double congrats.
