[FS: General] B4 to micro 4/3 lenses, adapters, and accessories for GH1, GH2, AF100, EP-3, 10% off

The Deluxe adapter and the other one are made by different manufacturers. I asked the maker of the black adapter why the orientation is at an angle and they said they thought it didn't matter because they assumed the servo would be useless and would be removed. They weren't aware that the zoom could be powered separately. No specific reason was given for the orientation.
I have asked them to re-tool the adapter with the proper orientation. They are working on it but the product is not ready yet.
 
Ask yourself this: If they don't know enough to correctly orient the lens, what else don't they now? Do you really trust buying their product?

The seller is trying to sell B4 to micro 4/3 lenses.

The questions should relate to that specific sales item, and not marketing strategy, whether you trust buying a lense, etc.

I see a bunch of these on the net from different resellers, did you manufacture these or are you reselling them?

It looks like the Deluxe and the Economy adapters have a different orientation, do you know why that is? I mean the Economy adapter mounts the lens in a wierd orientation rather than having the lens orientated with the top... on top. I don't see any engineering reason for that at first glance and it doesent make any sense to do that other than if it were a way to lean people to purchasing the Deluxe adapter.

So do you think it was an engineering choice, or a marketing choice?

Will a lens that has a servo not fit into the economy adapter regardless of orientation?

I'm curious... And I need one and can't budget the deluxe adapter at this moment :-(

The build quality of the deluxe adapter is stronger and has a better tripod mount built into it, capable of supporting even the heaviest B4 lenses.
