B4 to M4/3 anyone doing it?

I found this on Vimeo and it go me thinking.

Apparently with his lens he gets no vignetting (I don't expect all B4 lenses to have this). It looks like from what I read he had the adapter custom made, but I found a solution.

B4 to C mount adapter:

And then a easily found C mount to m4/3 adapter like this one:

It should work. I was wondering if anyone has tried it.

B4 lenses are designed to back focus through a prism on a 3-chip camera. You will get chromatic aberrations due to the lens compensating for diffraction through the prism. The lens will vignette significantly too on the wide end as it is designed to cover a sensor half the width of a 4/3 format.

Well this guy that made this video doesn't have vignetting or chromatic aberrations. I didn't see anywhere that he cropped the image to get rid of vignetting, maybe that is a special lens, who knows. Also maybe there is no chromatic aberrations because it is an older lens that was made before 3 chip cameras. I looked up the lens he was using and it's pretty old.

The lens is not really that old. I sold him the lens he is using for that clip. It's a Canon YJ18x9B4 - 3 sensor cams had been in use for probably 20 years when that lens was made. It is definitely for 3CCD usage. There is some CA, but it's not that bad if shot correctly. Go to our thread about it for more information: http://www.dvxuser.com/V6/showthread.php?t=215367

Also, you can see my clip with my modified Canon J13x9B: http://vimeo.com/13036729

There is no vignetting at all when you use a 2/3" lens and also a 2X extender (either built-in to the lens or external). For those clips we both were using the built-in extender on the lenses.
