Noise was added at postproduction as an art effect for the black&white video.




The introductory part with the Prague's footages is from my archive (it was not shooted for this widely framed picture).
There is only an ambient light.

I will highly recommend trying Filmconvert - it has one of the best b&w algorithms out there as well as different grain types.

Thanks. I worked only with Avid Symphony in this case, it is low budget video. What do you think about canon-log in this video? I like it.

Actually I don't own C100 yet, but I'm just waiting for any unexpected NAB announcements before I pull the trigger. Looks good for me

Yes, C100 is nice, but 10bit output will be nicer .- ) .

But I own C100 one year and I like this camera very much.

very timely, just shot a project meant for Black & White in uncompressed 422 on my c100. Should be fun to play with filmconvert.
