Awful or Great? Voigtländer Nokton 25mm f/0.95

[Barry_Green]

It's a moot question. That lens is m43 mount. You'd never get it to mount on any other camera.

This lens is an incredible lens. It does things I simply can't do with anything else. It's also quite a distinctly different look than I get out of anything else I shoot with. I'm going to buy another one just so I can match this up well on multi-cam shoots. I wish we could have bought 20 of them cause I'd have made a killing.. and rightly so. It's an amazing lens with a ton of upside...

That definitely answers my original question above, then: "What would happen if you mounted this lens to a camera with full S35 sensor?" Good to know. Thanks.

Okay, okay... You'll never get this lens on that camera "without a hacksaw. "

Ha! Well maybe Voigtlander will see the huge potential for making an S35 lens, no hacksaw required.

Remember that if speed is not a factor, the .95 bokeh is more or less the same as an f1.7 on the Canon 5d.
