C100: awesome footage from c100 !

Hi guys
I just took some of my best shots ever on the c100 recently. So I just had to post it . Sorry about myself :)

The video is here

The shots I'm really excited about are at 6:15 and pretty much from 7 mins onwards (outdoor shots)

To match that kind of dynamic range on a sunny day I would have had to have 2 assistants scrimming and
reflecting light. So I was really happy with my solo effort thanks to the clouds. (dont judge the other shots :) )

great look and edit as well! what lenses were used? what was used for the speeches?

looks like you made serious efforts to protect your highlights and succeeded. care to share your personal approach to exposing? black tuxes and white dresses is always tough.

polished and very professional. I'm sure the couple is happy.

Cheers for the nice comments.

Cheers, for the most part I used sigma 18-35 always wide open. and at 35mm for speeches. for sound i was forced to use my back up plan which was
my digital recorder on the lectern
For the out door shots i used the samyang 14mm. Im glad I did because I usually get lazy and glide with sigma 18mm cos i dont want to change lenses.
Only prob is no polarizer with sammy. but on a cloudy day is arguably not needed?

thanks, for starters i followed this guys lead
http://ntown.at/blog/2013/01/06/canon-log/
about black pedestal. But in the end I only did one thing to my copied clog. I just made black pedestal -9 (not -11 as he recommends)
Secondly, that will stuff up the live view a bit with the auto compensation (forgot the name) from clog, so i turn that off.
Lastly i of course use the wave form monitor to see how close I can get the blacks to the bottom without clipping and just try my luck honestly. (with regards to whites)
but the most important thing i do is just eyeball it. sounds unprofessional on a forum like this, but to me if it looks good on my monitor its mostly going to be good
on the computer. (especially if you have peaking and zebra on but zebra on really high like 97 percent so it doesn't busy up the screen)
I might actually switch to that cowpunk tweak someone posted on here. pauls? it looks freakin awesome. but i do like to grade... so ill need to find a balance.

oh and i dont think ill glide on a windy day ever again. lesson learned!
