Avid MC 5 on ATI Radeon card?

Hi, I edit with Avid and I just picked up a new mac pro. It comes with the ATI Radeon HD 5770 card. Will I be OK running Avid MC 5 with the ATI?

I came here because I'm getting conflicting reports. Some people are telling me their running on that exact card with no problems themselves while others are telling me that they swear you can only run on the Nvidia. Who doesn't know what they're talking about?

It depends on the OS. On a PC, it requires Quadro FX cards while on a Mac, it supports Nvidia Geforce and ATI Radeon cards.
 
I'm running MC5 on a PC hp probook 4520 with an ATI mobility Radeon HD 6370 and it runs just fine. I'm sure you'll have no problems.

ATI Radeon HD 5670 here, no problems. It's not "officially" supported by Avid, but it still works :thumbup:
