I have a Macbook 2.4Ghz 4GB of RAM and editing AVCHD is very laggy (and playback in Quicktime and VLC) so I converted it to H.264, and it play's back fine, but as soon as I put it in Premiere Pro it is almost as laggy as the .mts file. Is there anyway I can edit my footage without lag, and still export in HD (720p). Or do I need a faster computer.
P.S Only looking into getting HMC150, I downloaded HMC150 raw footage to test with. I really like the HMC150 but can't afford to buy a new computer along with it, if I can't find a way to edit AVCHD easily I'm am going to get a DVX100B.
WHAT CAN I DO!
