ALL: AVCHD 4:2:1 vs DV 4:1:1

I manage good results keying with my DVX100B, granted it's only standard definition, but I am trying to figure out how well the new AC130/160 would fare in the HD world with so many more pixels involved, or even when shooting SD vs SD. I realize proper lighting is key to pulling a good key but given the below instances can I expect comparable results? I'm talking DV vs AVCHD and not using an external recorder to bypass the codec and record 4:2:2.
So it's 720X480 4:1:1 color sampling versus 720X1280 and 1080X1920 with 4:2:0

-A properly lit set using foam backed green chroma key material.
-A not as properly lit run-and-gun temp green backdrop on-location shoot

You might want to read the green screen threads on the AF100 forum since that uses the same file format. The only thing I can think of that might make green screen worse for the 130/160 is that you will need to go into gain at a higher light level than with the AF100. A noisy green screen is much harder to pull a key from.
