Avatar - James Cameron Returns! (Spoilers in thread, obviously!)

Nope. Somehow I have managed to work for James Cameron, Michael Bay and Michael Mann without having ever once been shouted at, by any of them.

Both. Although most real interaction takes place on set.

Max, answer if you know, but are these types of quotes from Cameron him goofing around or is he really serious when he says these types of things to his crew? It seems to me that he is at least semi-joking because who is that funny when they are pissed?

The line between goofing around and really serious blurs for everyone when they're working. I know it's a weasel answer but I can't really presume to answer for anyone else when it comes to that sort of thing. For my part I may be seriously aggravated with someone and it will show, but some degree of humor can still creep in while I'm barking at them. If you go deadly totally serious with every little thing while you're working, it's a one-way ticket to losing your marbles.

Agreed.

Rarely do I get really pissed, but if I do I just can't think straight until I calm back down. This is why I feel it is a waste of time and energy, especially on a film set, to go ranting and raving like a madman when something doesn't go exactly according to plan.

You aint lying. That one is badass. I'm exicted again.

I loved the first trailer, but that was just a teaser so this new trailer gets me much more excited about the film due to getting a glimpse of the characters and their motivations.

The teaser was one of the best teaser trailers I've seen in a while though. Anybody know if this new trailer is gonna be up on iTunes or Xbox Live or anything. I want to download it in full 1080p.

Am I the only one that sees a few hints of cheese in that new trailer, especially in the beginning...

New trailer is way better though, definitely looking forward to it.

There is a new trailer that came out today. Looks good!

Sorry, Yahoo has it without the foreign subtitles.

New one's a much better representation of the film. Not a surprise, I guess, since we're closing in on the release date.

And it begins with a shot taken on one of my sets. So much the better.

Has anyone seen the trailer in 3D? I'm wondering how good it's gonna look in 3D. Supposedly it'll revolutionize film, but who knows.
