But to auto white balance you can use the function button to select preset A or B and then hold down the white balance button while focused at a card.
There is a "custom function" called "shockless WB" for smooth transitions between your presets.
One push Auto Focus exsists for canon AF compatable lenses, but don't expect smooth tracking auto focus. I've been using it for wide vista shots, never during recording.
