Can someone explain what ATW can do that Variable white balance cannot. Interview under flueorescents, using VAR white balance I could not get the color temp to look proper, I dialed every color temp there is manually with VAR and it just looked wrong. I flick on ATW and bang, perfect color temp. I flicked back to VAR and tried dailing it in again....not even close? The manual is a little vague on VAR saying to only use as a reference etc. I was excited about this feature, but upon using I'm not sure it's worth much. Maybe just that particular lighting. I use the kelvin setting on the GH2 and seems to work really well.
