Canon won't commit to whether or not the upgrade will work with my Tamron 17-50 and suggested I ask on my favorite C100 forum. Anybody know for sure? Thanks!
Anybody? Any suggestions for searching? I'm hesitant to get the $500 upgrade and lose my camera for 10 - 15 days if it won't work with my workhorse lens.
Ugh! I guess no news is bad news. I'm going to pass on the upgrade then. That Tamron 17-50 is my go to talking head lens and I use it for all of my location green screen work. Also all of the step up rings for my prompter fit it. I guess I'll just use peaking more but I've been burned twice lately with soft footage that looked fine on the little C100 monitor. I was hoping the AF upgrade would help me out...
