Authorized dealer in LA

I'm planning on buying HVX200 this month. I have three questions:

1. Does anyone know any authrorized dealer in LA area?

2. If I place an order with, say, B&H and ship to LA, I don't need to pay the sales tax, correct?

3. Is there a newer version of HVX200 coming out soon (have you heard any rumors)?

Thanks very much!!

EVS - Express Video Supply, Inc - Talk to Tommy Mack, tell him you're a DVXUser member and he'll get you dialled in. Don't go by the prices listed on their website... you have to call 'em.

Sure... a new model will come out. When? It's anyone's guess.

I second (triple?) EVS. But make sure you know the "B+H prices" first. You have to haggle with them but I've been able to get stuff down to B+H pricing (but plus CA tax, of course). Use the tax issue as part of your bargaining. I've found that they will end up matching street prices.

I also like Birns and Sawyer in Hollywood. Straightforward, no-nonsense.

And Alan Gordon on Melrose. They've been around forever.
