AC160 "Audiobug" AC 160

On my old HMC150 I could record my NTG2 mono mic to both channels if I set input 1 to both CH1 and CH2.
Doing so on my new AC 160 EJ (Europeen model) there´s no audio at all.
Input 1 and 2 are functioning individually.
Can anyone confirm this or is it only my cam.

Dead battery? Phantom power not set? Line level audio switch active? Using VFR mode?

I think he's saying it works fine on either channel alone, just not when both channels are set to the same input…

If you are only using one mic it should be connected to channel 2. Then set both switches to channel 2.

You are right Mike connect to input 2 and the both channels to 2.
I´m a lttle excited just now doing my first concert with AC160 tonight.

I wish you success. I'd be nervous too, using an unfamiliar camera in a situation where getting good audio is often a challenge.
