Yesterday I was shooting an interview. Wireless lav on the subject feeds channel one and wired boom on channel 2. I had 48v enabled for the boom on channel 2 but no audio. Checked settings again all is good but still no sound from the boom. Problem was solved by connecting boom to front ( camera mic) input . When I got back to the office I tried duplicating the original problem - boom wired into channel 2 rear input but to no avail. In other words what failed on location worked in the office.
By chance, does the camera need to be power cycled in order for some menu settings to take effect?
