Hi everyone,
Some time ago, I bought a DAT recorder when I was shooting 16mm, and now that I've switched to DV, I'm wondering if I should keep the DAT.
Aside from freeing the camera up from microphone cables and having the ability to record room tone or off-camera effects, are there any reasons I should use the DAT instead of the audio from the camera?
