Audio import problems from camera setting 720x24p

A friend shot something with my HVX200. Normally I shoot everything in PN mode and never had a problem. The camera was set to 24P mode on this shoot. On import audio cracklinng occurs, as well as it sounds sped up and is not in sync. Video plays back fine. Please advise
 
yes please tell what NLE you are using and are you re-encoding (cineform or similiar), does the clip play back in the camera correctly?
 
Source is HVX 200 720x24P .. Not PN. Importing into FCP 6.0....No re-encoding being done...Video and Audio play correct in both the camera and in the Log and Transfer window prior to importing. We've tried various settings and all come back with audio out of sync and sped up. Video seems a smidge choppy...
