C300: Audio - 24p none. 23.98 works

[New_Zealand]

I did some test footage today shooting both 24 and 23.98 Had a mic hook up to the camera.

Here is the problem I ran into;

Shooting 24 I can do the playback on the C300 and with the headphones I hear the talent talking BUT when I download it into Vegas Pro there is no audio only visual.

Shooting in 23.98 I can do the playback on the C300 and with the headphones I hear the talent talking and when I download it into Vegas Pro I can still hear the audio and get visual.

I wonder what happened?

Perhaps Vegas Pro doesn't have a 24.0 FPS preset?

I'll check into that.
