Audi edit

Re: Audi edit

This video is "aight" nothing really good nothing really shot "badly" the editing is lackluster at best.. it is definitely an edit in progress. I'm looking forward to more extreme angels on this A4. Or perhaps an eye level shots from a static location with full zoom and the heat distortion coming up from the road, distoring the beautiful Xeons lights as the car's heading towards you?

Re: Audi edit

some of the shots look pretty steady...then some of them look jerky, in a wierd way. are you using some sort of software like steadymove to take out the shake?

Re: Audi edit

no i had a manfrotto monopod and i was sitting in the back seat of my grand cherokee while my friend drove...and i kind of hung out the window a little...the really jerky shots were probabbly from me moving to try and get comfortable...heh....i braced the monopod inbetween the door and the seat and used my elbow on the back seat for support....

no stabilizing software used yet....
im thinking about building a plexi shield to put infront of the camera and get some industrial strength suction cups and building a couple supports off of them a couple feet...so i can get some nice rolling shots ...but time is of the escence...since ima be movin soon

Re: Audi edit

gotcha, not bad for a monopod and some elbow work.

i've been thinking of changing my name to Rich Leebowitz. maybe i get some more play in this town that way. (kidding of course). although, british people seem to do alright as well...so maybe its Sir Richard Leebowitz III. i think with a name like that i could rule....eh?

Re: Audi edit

haha lebowitz...that would be nice....
yeah...its gonna be crazy...i need to find a decent place to live and all that jazz...the work is all lined up and good to go....dont know wether to fly out and buy new everything or just drive out and bring what i can.....i live in MD so its a hike....heh

Re: Audi edit

Jourabchi, my man...not to short-change the footage at all, but exactly which track from Krush is that? I've been hooked on it since I saw your vid but I can't track it down

er, I used to live in MD too, in Laurel, does that add any bonus points? :p
