I've just watched Erik Naso's video on the C100 and Atomos Ninja 2 (Thanks Erik) I'm planning on still using the C100 LCD to monitor so the increased res of the v 2 screen doesn't bother me that much. Is the 2 still worth getting? Does the 1 have the canon trigger? I'll be shooting 24p. Are there any cheaper \ smaller external recorders worth checking out? Thanks

That being said, I used a Ninja 1 yesterday with C100 for a greenscreen shoot. It worked as expected, I just needed to run the files through compressor to remove the pulldown. You could also use LANC for start stop I believe. For how cheap it is, maybe it's worth it for you. I actually have one for sale...
