at this point

I right clicked on it copy it, then put it in and get this message:

main: no suitable access module for `file://http://media.dvinfo.net/canonxh/24fhndykite.m2t'

You have to right click and download it. Don't copy the address. You have to actually save the file to your computer.

it's on my desktop now with .txt at the end? Change anything or try putting that in the player

I got it!!!! Cool. Thanks i've been messing around with that for weeks. Computers are not one of my strongs points. Once I get talked through I'm ok,,,,

very nice footage by the way. Thanks. Now I have a lot to look at and thanks again Kholi

Yeah no problem.

Do this as well:

Click Window at the top > Go to EXTENDED CONTROLS > Drop down Menu VIDEO SETTINGS > click the Enable square then drag those bars around. Play with the footage and see just how rich the colors become. Drop the gamma, increase the contrast...

the footage is quite nice.

You can even deinterlace the 60i footage by going to the top and clicking VIDEO > DINTERLACE > and choose which method. I think the second one is the right one. edit: by the second one I meant to select BOB as the method. Watch how glossy the 60i becomes. wooooo.

Enjoy the 30+ clips. I know I sure as hell did.

By the way: your thread is pretty much useless now. Sorry.

On VLC player change the aspect ratio to 221:100 whatever that means, but looks close to 2:35 and is very nice.
