yeah can you tell us a little bit more about the lens?

aren't those classic lens slower? what is the f-stop?
also don't you get vignetting when you use the 20mm wide lens? (which I didn't see)

Dory Breaux the 50mm is a pentax asahi super takumar multi coated f1.4. very fast love the images and dof. f

ryvac actually the two zeiss are some of the faster lenses made back in the day. i made sure to research and find out what lenses are the fastest.

the 20mm is 2.8. pretty fast. esp when you go down to 5.6. as for vignetting. the lens gives none at all. very clear and crisp all around. for me this is a great lens.

as for the 35mm, thats one of the fastest zeiss jenas made. thats an f2.4. this gives me even more crisper images than the 20mm. especially when stopped down to f5.6. but wide open it also gives some great dof.

overall im very happy with them. def better than my nikons.
 
WOW. so you don't get vignetting as long as you stick with f5.6? that's great.

so how does the Pentax Takumar compare to the zeiss? is it knowticable or is there any diffrence you experienced?
have you ever thought about getting the zeiss 50mm?
