C100: Assassin vs Pix-e5H for c100 and gh4

Hi Guys,

looking into monitor recorders, im at either the assassin or the pix-e5h for my c100 and gh4, do any of you use either one with the cinema series? which one do you recommend?

I was was in the same boat and went with pix-e5h. Simply because of it records dci 4K. Plus found it on eBay local seller for $1150 including the 240gb drive. Love it. Planning to get another one.

Can anyone confirm something? I saw that in a review someone tried to record prores 4444 XQ but said it was incompatible.. does that mean if I want to record in 10 bit 422 prores it wont let me and I can only use 8? coz that would kinda suck..
 
The PIX-E5H will record ProRes from Proxy up to 422HQ which is a 10-bit codec. You have to have the PIX-E5 or PIX-E7 to record in the ProRes 4444 XQ codec with support for the Rec. 2020 color space.
