As promised...NEW XHA1/RedRock M2 footage!

This is the first outdoor test footage I shot with my A1/M2. I can't tell you how much I'm loving this adapter.

I shot at 1080/24F at default settings with the RedRock rails and follow focus, carrying the whole thing around like a baby since I don't have a spiderbrace yet. On the adapter I used a 50mm Nikon lens. I edited in Vegas 7 and there was no color correction. The only adjustments made were to brightness and contrast.

The file is at 720p and is 168 megs, so please Right-Click and Save As. If you're on a PC, I highly recommend watching with VLC Player as Quicktime tends to wash out the colors.

****ing sweet dude.

Everytime I see A1+adapter footage, I'm blown away. Amazing colours too.

What is your editing process?

That's definitely some of the best A1+M2 footage I've ever seen. Great work.

your footage definitely looks great, however personally, i cant stand the M2 and its footage. all i see is a circular pattern in the bokeh and has gotten to the point where its simply a distraction.

but nice fotage :)

Love that song - takes me back hmmmm

Noticed your image floating a bit - remember to turn ois off when using the m2.

Thanks so much for the comments everybody! I'm stoked to share.

Yeah, I shot it fairly soon after getting the adapter, and wasn't privy to that info at the time. Now we're on the ball. Thanks!

Is it just a problem with the M2 because it use a circular GG vs a vibrating GG? I don't see that problem come up on Wayne's SGpro.

EDIT: Well I noticed a little bit of the same problem in the SGpro. It is so faint that I had to be really looking for it. I noticed it when I was doing a wide shot over the city and saw it happening in the sky. I could see the ground glass spinning. But it is so faint that I'm sure just stopping down the lens by one stop or using an ND filter will get rid of it. But the edge sharpness is not effected by the GG. Only when you see it in the sky. Definitely not like the way the M2 behaves in the whole picture.

I'm not sure what you guys mean by "problem". I don't really see any problems with it per se, but then, I shot it. :Drogar-BigGrin(DBG)
