I keep seeing this in my footage. (EDGES & CORNERS)

As you can see the background has artifacts.
I shot this at 1/50 ISO 100 using the SUPERFLAT preset.
I compressed it in MPEG Streamclip in Apple Intermediate Codec.
Then colorized in AF. Exported as a ANIMATION then sent it to MPEG again with the same codec to get a 300MB footage from 4GB.

What happened?lol

compression artifacts and/or noise revealed from your filtering

when you use lossy compression through multiple stages, and go from 4GB to 300MB there is going to be some damage done

I have this same problem. I think it comes from mpeg streamclip raising your black levels to be legal.

Well whatever it's caused by, you can try to improve your workflow or introduce a mild denoiser

e.g.

Going overboard will make the image blurry and getting rid of the "dirt" in the background can actually make your video (assuming you're distribution format is video) appear more banded along gradients because denoising essentially reduces the dithering of the noise.

Superflat is the worst Picture Style you can use. It pushes the gamma curve up in the blacks where it's not really supposed to be introducing artifacting. You may see more in the shadows but it's not worth it.

There's a bunch of negative threads on this picture style.

Get a fast lens, use plenty of light, use a good Picture Style.

Alright. I've heard alot of using Proress on for codec. Also What kind of "denoiser" does After Effects have?
Shooting Superflat. You dont recommend it. Damn! It's so crazy people say it's good for the most dynamic range and other say something else. What the hell!!
It's driving me crazy..I dont know what to do anymore..lol What kind of picture style do you use?

Most people seem to prefer Neutral these days with Sharpening and Contrast tuned all of the way down and Saturation tuned slightly down.

I think the general consensus these days is that the codec of the DSLRs isn't strong enough to support the the major flattening that Superflat does. You have to stretch the image back out too much in the post, which results in banding.

I shoot neutral with sharpness and contrast all the way down as noted above. Secondly Canons dslrs are not know for super high res shots, they have more of a soft look to them. Personally I love my camera.....
