Hi, i saw a verry sweat lense for sale and it was described as a 'Arri Arriflex bayonet MT'. Was wondering if it would be possible to mount this on a GH2/3?

Ben

Thanks, it is actualy described as a 'Angenieux Zoom type 12x20B Arri Arriflex bayonet Chrosziel', looks like it is not going for much. What is the catch?

What is 'ETC mode'?

Ben

Here's another Ebay possibility: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Schneider-K...ens_Adapters_Mounts_Tubes&hash=item3a6b3b8f89

I'm very interested in trying this out with a GH3 once I get mine in ETC mode. It's more for sentimentality, but it's great to be able use a 10-150mm 15x zoom with a microforce zoom control.

I love that guy's adapters, I've been using one of his Canon FD units for a couple years now, but I don't think his Arri bayonet design is the best. FWIW I think there has been an Arri B-to-PL solution around for years, maybe I'm wrong on this but I think I remember using one on a job with an Arri SR back in the film days, rock solid.

OK, not sure exactly what you mean. Are you saying I should use a m4/3 to PL and a PL to Arriflex?

That is what I would do, but then I already have a PL adapter. I've come close to buying a couple of Arri B lenses over the past year, some of the Zeiss's are a pretty good value depending on condition. Arri IIs and IIIs were the MOS camera for a long time and there is a lot of cool glass in Arri B mount floating around out there.
