GH13 Argh!! Transparent bar right side/artifacts gh13

Ok guys this is driving me bonkers and I can't find an answer. I get this random transparent bar on the right side of my footage. Happens mostly outside in sunlight. shots are exposed properly maybe even a little over exposed. I use a diy nd filter(two cross polarizers). Lens is 28mm vivtar. iso 100. It happens infrequently and I just crop it out but why? is my question.

Also, Ive been getting some weird artifacts when recording black objects in general even when the shot is exposed properly. Like in this pic my shirt will get purple banding especially when the object is moving. White ghosting sometimes too.

Does anybody know whats going on?

its the nikon adapter ..man, this sucks..i have tried 3 diff adapters, and all of them do this..try this, see where on the adapter there is the release spring thing you press to take out the lens from the adapter ..thats where the light is coming in, tryto put your hand over that area of the adapter and you will see that gone..that strip only occurs at a certain angle at a specific power of light, its hard to reproduce, but once it does, you can see it..so the best thing would be is i guess always have some black tape on hand to cover that spot., or buy an adapter that does not have that style of release..by the way, i posted about this 2 years ago, no one knew whats going on, i thought the sensor was bad, after many tests and a year later i finally found out it was only the nikon adapter that had this issue..i wish all the gh1/gh2 adapters were like the m42 adapter, love that style of tight screw in the lens style..hope that helped

Wow thanks. I don't think I would have ever figured that out on my own. Makes sense now. Happens in sunlight. And it does kinda look like light is hitting the sensor. Ill put some tape over the button. Looks promising
