Are all these recent box office records adjusted for inflation?

Seems it's always some new movie coming out breaking another record, fastest grossing, blah blah...

Are these numbers adjusted for inflation?

Of course, there are two types of inflation numbers - those officially reported by the Bureau of Labor and Statistics (BLS) and the movie ticket prices. Then there are pre-1992 BLS numbers and post-1992 BLS numbers, with the post fudging the CPI by several percentage points annually.
