FS7: Aputure VS-5 color???

Got this a while ago and the default color looks nothing like the stock viewfinder on the fs7.

Wasn't really a problem since I just use it as a "framing / focus" monitor, but recently I've become more annoyed with the wacky greenish / yellowish tint.

Anyone else had this problem with the Aputure monitor? (and did you correct the color manually? If so...what settings did you use?)

I just got a vs-5x monitor, and the colors are horrible. There is a color banding, similar too looking at 256 colored GIF file, or a video game from the 90s. I returned it and now wait for support to answer.

I bought an Aputure 7" monitor -- never liked the color. But the price was right and it was perfect re-purposed to work as the monitor for a micro-teleprompter rig. It now lives in the propmpter case and I bought a SmallHD 702 to use as an on-camera monitor - which I really do like.

I have always seen an absurd amount of contrast added to our Aputure monitors. It's great on set when you're shooting log and a client is peeking at it, but not so much for reference.

I don't think I'll pick up any more, even at the price point.
