I am using funds from a law firm to build my own editing suite. The money would go further if I could buy used. I have that cleared with the firm and I am on the search... Looking for an all in one setup but if you have any of these components and dont mind shipping to Arkansas let me know:
1. 15inch MBP w/ I7 processor
2. 24inch LED Apple Cinema Display
3. Final Cut Studio 7
4. Magic Bullet Suite 10
5. Plural Eyes

The reason I ask is because if you have a qualifying upgrade from a previous version, you can upgrade for as little as $250.00.

But you can't use a upgrade that is licensed to another person or institution.

david- thanks for the heads up... i thought about getting an older version on ebay and then upgrading... would that work?
