Apple iPhone 13 to have ProRes

PS. Abe, neither the government nor Al Gore invented the Internet. And, while Wernher von Braun did create a set of rockets working for a set of governments, there were other costs involved.

"The people who invented the internet came from all over the world. They worked at places as varied as the French government-sponsored computer network Cyclades, England’s National Physical Laboratory, the University of Hawaii and Xerox. But the mothership was the US defense department’s lavishly funded research arm, the Advanced Research Projects Agency (Arpa) – which later changed its name to the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (Darpa) – and its many contractors. Without Arpa, the internet wouldn’t exist.

As a military venture, Arpa had a specifically military motivation for creating the internet: it offered a way to bring computing to the front lines. In 1969, Arpa had built a computer network called Arpanet, which linked mainframes at universities, government agencies, and defense contractors around the country. Arpanet grew fast, and included nearly 60 nodes by the mid-1970s."

I suspect that gimbal and drone technology is a product of tax dollars as well, thanks to research for military surveillance and murder drones.

I think Peter interpreted your predictions of mass unemployment as fear of technological change. But he didn't realize that you're rooting for SkyNet ;)

haha, that part comes later...right now the phones still need to be operated by people.

I don't like this camera. The moment the Camera app is launched, the screen looks like the lens shutter has just opened. The shutter is open, the picture is on, which means that the season of photo-hunting can be declared open. Let's start examining the features of taking pictures with the iPhone camera https://macpaw.com/how-to/backup-iphone-to-external-drive with the face recognition function, which first appeared in the iOS 5 series firmware. But when saving objects, you have to manually delete duplicates. Also, I can't make copies of all the photos and files to change the phone model. I read the instructions but it doesn't say anything

FWIW, over the last few days, there have been several new smartphone releases. Looking at their cameras, one ought to conclude that no new user of these cameras will want an ILC (or, as mentioned frequently, DSLR ... out of tradition). Is the image quality as good? No, not even close. But the in-camera tricks are sufficient for pretty much every non-pro or a hard core enthusiast.

For sure, ProRes will be a welcome addition to the iPhone lineup.
