we just wrapped a 6 day shoot on our film "Aperture"

we shot on DVX 100a. We also used a tripod mount crane and steadycams. I'll list the full equiptment list soon.

Whats wrong with that grab? It looks like it has a resolution of 240. Some setting, pulldown, deinterlace, needs to be tweaked.
 
sweet!, I like creepy trailers. good work with the audio, the mix of sfx's and the music. welcome to the DVXuser website it is a great resource.
 
I just watched your film on youtube and I just wanted to say that it was really well done. The acting was a lot better than some of the stuff I've seen on here. Great job
 
Excellent editing of the trailer. Looks like there is some really good camera work. My only gripe about the trailer is that is doesn't tell me anything about what the movie is about. All it takes is a couple of lines of dialouge to accomplish that.

Otherwise, the lighting was good and I liked the colors as well.

Please keep us updated.
 
The only beef I had with this trailer, really, was that I could not tell what the movie was about. Overall, it felt VERY much like the love child of the Matrix and the Ring. :)

But if I knew what the story was and the story was good, I would pretty much overlook that.

I thought your use of sound was the strongest element.

A little news from Blackhole Studios: Thursday March 9th 2006

We are curremtly in the editing stages of our new film "aperture"

I will be doing a periodical video blog while in post production to keep crew and cast informed on the editing process. And will post more trailers, teasers, street team promotion, etc in the coming weeks.
