APC-C Westerns

[El Director]

My next feature "Derek", which I'm shooting this summer, will be very much in the vein of a spaghetti western. It's winter right now out here in Montana, so doing tests isn't feasible yet. I'm looking for any and all western style films/footage that have been shot with an APS-C camera. Please post any you know of here. Thanks!

You should go through the films from Westfest from like a year ago or something. We shot our film "Eidolon" on 2 7d's and a t2i, and though ours was more of a drama than a typical shoot em up, we still went for a cowboy "feel." If the films are still up I'm sure there are others that used an APS-C camera.

If the films aren't accessible through dvxuser, you can see ours on vimeo: http://vimeo.com/14600932

I hope that helps!

Thanks, I appreciate it. I'm really wanting to see how this camera handles landscapes and such. So far I'm happy =)
