Anyone worked with the PAL version and FCP?

I've put my name down for the PAL version of the HVX.

I'm wondering if I'll be able to work anything but downconverted DV in Final Cut Pro.

Version 5.0.4 doesn't seem to have a DVCPRO HD 720p50 codec for me to base any sequences on. How will I be able to edit any P2-based content from my new camera if there isn't a codec for it?

Has anyone edited any footage from this camera on a Mac? Can the European version of Ms. Crittenden let anyone from the BBC or any beta testers assure us that there's a point in getting this camera as soon as possible? Or should I wait for the software to catch up with the hardware.

DVCPRO HD 1080p25 and 1080i50 works fine in FCP 5.
What's missing in FCP is a 50p version of the DVCPRO HD 720 codec, but it's just the Quicktime codec that's missing, so it will be easy to add this function.
 
Also the planets seems to align for an Apple evnt on the 1.st of april, could include a pre NAB announcement?
