Anyone Using This FollowFocus?

I have the cavision rod support system RS15IIM, and I'm planning to buy the following followfocus:

Is anyone here using this combination with 7d?

Another question is: Do I need rings for the lenses. Mine are Zeiss for nikon.
If any special ring is used, what is the ref. and where can I buy them?

yes you need gears for your lenses

I have the cinevate gears but I wish I got the zacuto, they are more expensive but I think they would operate more smoothly and they take up less room in the lens bag.
