anyone using their DVX100?

Yes. I just purchased a house & went through the whole house & shot everything. Still a beautiful looking image. I also have a motorcycle project we shot last summer that is still in the editing stage on my PC. Haven't upgraded to HD yet so the DVX is still my cam :)

Just picked one up on craigslist for $300. A friend of mine wanted a inexpensive camera that had an eye view finder. Editing the footage with Powerdirector 11.

Yep, getting away with a DVX100A as a wide shot (with a bit of detail wound in) while the other two cameras are HVX200 and 200A. Record all three on Firestores and edit on a PC using Sony Vegas Pro 10.

Not exactly state-of-the-art, but, hey, it works when the final result is still distributed on DVD:laugh:

I recently bought two DVX100a's because I missed having that camera so much. They're great cameras for shooting weddings, when the deliverable is a DVD.

I edit on a PC using Sony Vegas Pro 8.0c.

Yes...blew the dust off my DVX-100b for the last fest. I still love the image the camera puts out!

I've kept my two 100b's around just for the occasional wedding shoot. I'm still amazed at the look of those cameras. I've shot 4 weddings for one family over the last two years and they all want "that look".
