C200: Anyone used Tilta products before?

I have the tilta g1 and it was pretty useful for a while but difficult to balance with the thick cable for the touch monitor on the c200. I'm getting the g2x though. and a small hd or odyssey or shogun flame to monitor from with thin ski cables.

As far as the gimbals, my recommendation would be to just investigate the software, setup and calibration. I have owned a few different gimbals and as far as I am concerned, every gimbal should take a lesson from Zhiyun and the Cranes. They all take about :20 to balance and setup and then they just work. Other gimbals, particularly the ones that use Simple BGC, are freaking nightmare to tune and balance. To me, the whole point of a gimbal is to free you up to quickly attach and move your camera, not nerd out with your laptop, trying to tweak really finicky and non-intuitive software/firmware settings.

The software/interface for tweaking the settings and how long it takes to arrive at a shoot, setup and balance are really all that matter with a gimbal. The rest are for techno-nerds who enjoy puttering with settings at home. I may be a techno-nerd, but I am a nerd who likes to get on set and shoot, not mess with equipment.

Can’t speak to the C200 cage but we just got two of the Tilta cages for our RED Weapon 6K cameras and they are great.
