Anyone used the new Lexar 3500X cards in their C300 mk2?
According to the Lexar website, they should work with the camera, but I just want to make sure before I get a mortgage to buy the cards.
Thanks
I highly recommend you do NOT use Lexar media of any kind with the C300 Mark II. According to Canon, Lexar CFast cards are not approved for usage in the C300 Mark II. Unfortunately I know this from experience as I had 3400x Lexar cards and lost media twice. I also had 3500x cards for a short time and returned them for SanDisk cards. I talked directly to Canon at GV Expo in December and even though Lexar says those cards are compatible, they are not approved for usage. Canon says Lexar "does something internally to their cards" that cause problems in Canon cameras, specifically the C300 Mark II. I'm hoping SanDisk comes out with a 256GB card soon too. Hope this is helpful.
If it works, it works, and so far...
