I used a Nikon 200mm ED lens a few years back and liked it for still tripod shots.
Anyway, I have a GH1 on order and one of my primary intentions is making some macro videos, mostly insects and other nature stuff.
Seems to me the 400mm effective focal length might marginalize it even mounted to a big sturdy tripod. (Also have one of those coming.)
If anyone has had any experience with the GH1 and this lens or other 200 mmm macro, I 'd be interested to hear about it.
(I really can't "afford" a $1400 macro lens but I found a pristine f.95 Bell and Howell Angenieux C-mount lens in my closet -- had no idea I owned it -- that coincidentally sells for just about that amount... it is on Ebay at the this very moment. If it sells for anything close to the Buy It Now price, I'm going to take it as a sign to repurchase the Nikon 200mm....That's just how my mind works.:lipsrseal)
